Tap Dungeon Guardian Class Guide

Stand unbreakable. The maze still kills anyone who pays 30 HP for a joke.

Tap Dungeon Guardian

Guardian is the fifth official sentence: stands unbreakable. It is a full-version class. The demo’s two playable roles are Warrior and Assassin. If you came here from the preview, bookmark this page and buy the paid build, or stay on Swordsman. The demo comparison is the short version of that warning.

Official fantasy

Unbreakable. A wall. A combat style that should feel like the opposite of Assassin. Mixing is still allowed, which is how Guardians pick up four damage relics, skip every defense tool, and then discover they were playing a slow Swordsman. Your job sentence: you are still standing when the floor lord finally dies. Speed is optional. Living through a tooltip is not.

There is no public English wall of named taunts in the store copy. Play the HUD: HP bar, potions, events, numbered skills. If a skill does not help you stay up or finish a brick, it is clutter. Builds is the clutter lecture. How to play is the HUD lecture.

How a Guardian should tap

Refuse gold pits unless you are genuinely full and broke. Refuse keys that cost a slice of the bar you are supposed to be famous for. Take potions even if they feel unheroic. Clear the floor lord with HP remaining so a hidden boss is a choice rather than a coin flip. The dungeon guide still applies: the fork wants the lord dead. Unbreakable does not open gates by staring at them.

Armor-brick enemies are why Guardian exists in a launch-week roster. If a tile ignores a 30-damage skill, a wall kit at least gets more turns to find a support mix. If it still never dies, rebirth. Do not spend a whole evening proving you are unbreakable against a number that does not move. Report persistent zeros on Steam or Discord (links).

Events versus the fantasy

Players pick Guardian because they hate random death, then they tap every pedestal because the class felt safe. That is how walls crumble. Event HP is the same HP. The filmed silver key still costs 15. The filmed meat pit still costs 30. Unbreakable is a combat claim, not an immunity to yellow text. Artifacts will try to trick you because you look like you can afford the trick. You cannot if the lord is next.

Mixing with siblings

  • Swordsman is the honest damage friend. One crush tool is how walls end fights.
  • Assassin is usually a mismatch. Steal a finisher if you must, not a whole shadow kit.
  • Mage range is a luxury. Do not abandon the bar to play bombard.
  • Alchemist potions are the other half of unbreakable. Drink them.

Sub-classes in the paid build should add bulk, taunt-like control, or a slow finish. A sub-class that wants you to live at 10 HP and pray is not a Guardian sub-class, it is a dare.

Who should pick Guardian

Pick it when you own the full game and you want to see biomes instead of the rebirth screen. Skip it on the demo. Skip it if you actually wanted to delete tiles and you are only scared of dying — that player often has more fun on Swordsman with stricter event manners. The class picker sends you here when you answer “survive.” The tier list may call the role boring. Boring clears floors.

Starter builds has a wall skeleton. Getting started still matters because the first hour is events, not a raid title. If you searched how to play Guardian, the answer is refuse the pit, drink the potion, kill the lord, then hunt secrets. Unbreakable is a schedule, not a cutscene.
