Skeletons, not stolen endgame codes. One job, one support, one panic button.

Tap Dungeon Starter Builds

This page turns the class ranks into something you can tap. Each skeleton follows the mixing rule on the build guide: one job, one support, one panic. Relic names are not invented. If an event offers something that fits the job, keep it. If it does not, leave it. Parent hub: tier list.

Honest Steel — Swordsman / Warrior

Legal in the demo. Job: crush. Support: whatever helps hits land. Panic: potions reserved for the floor lord.

Tap HP-neutral events. Skip the filmed gold pit unless you are full. Kill the lord. Do not open hidden bosses on the first try. Details: Swordsman. This is the skeleton the getting started page wants you on.

Door Opener — Assassin

Legal in the demo after unlock. Job: delete one tile. Support: a single extra burst or a potion. Panic: leave options on events.

Skip keys. Skip beggars unless a potion is cheap relative to the bar. Burst the lord. If armor ignores you, rebirth rather than proving it. Details: Assassin.

Potion Accountant — Alchemist

Full version. Job: bottles pay rent. Support: gold buffer for shops and beggars. Panic: refuse pits that cost a third of the bar.

Take loot popups when the grid has space. Drink on the lord, not on trash. Details: Alchemist and artifacts. If you mash events, play Honest Steel instead.

Wall Schedule — Guardian

Full version. Job: still standing. Support: one crush tool so fights end. Panic: skip yellow HP costs.

This skeleton exists to see swamp, snow, desert, and ruins without a rebirth slideshow. Details: Guardian and dungeons. Boring is the point.

Range Lesson — Mage

Full version. Job: bombard. Support: potions and any relic that keeps you out of melee trades. Panic: leave the meat pit.

Use this to test whether afar is your fun before you invent a 20-step talent plan the demo never showed. Details: Mage. If the first lord still requires standing in a pit, you mis-tapped, you did not “discover a melee mage meta.”

Shared rules for every skeleton

  • Finish the floor lord before optional hunts. Dungeons explains the gate.
  • Do not carry a museum of keys. Artifacts explains the tax.
  • Talents, when they exist, multiply the job you already picked. The demo has none. Demo notes.
  • Armor-brick rooms are a mixing test or a bug. How to play.
  • Rerolling because a letter rank hurt you is how you never learn. Class ranks.

How to graduate a starter

A starter is done when you can explain, out loud, which three pieces won the last lord. Then you may add one greedy event per floor. Then you may hunt a hidden boss. Then you may read the review and decide if another class is a weekend or a refund. The class picker remains the select-screen short path.

If a streamer dumps a named “S-tier God Mix” with unpublished skill IDs, compare it to these skeletons. If it has four identities, it is a junk drawer with a watermark. Sibling page: class ranks. Parent: tier list hub. Go tap.

One more launch-week honesty check: these skeletons will look naive after the first talent hotfix. That is fine. A naive three-piece kit that kills a lord is worth more than a twelve-piece theory that dies to a beggar. Update the skeleton when updates gives you names. Do not update it because a stranger yelled a letter rank.

What not to add in the first hour

Do not add a second job because a chest glowed. Do not add a hidden-boss detour because the store mentioned secrets. Do not add a talent theory from another crawler. Honest Steel, Door Opener, Potion Accountant, Wall Schedule, and Range Lesson are already five different evenings. Finish one. The class picker will still be there tomorrow if the evening was a mismatch. The floor lord will not give you extra credit for a notebook with every skeleton checked off and zero lords dead.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Launch-week answers for new adventurers from the Duchy of Lyle.

Which starter should a total beginner use?

Honest Steel on Swordsman. It is demo-legal and matches getting started.

Why no exact skill names?

Xiao5 has not published a public English skill encyclopedia we can cite. Jobs beat fake IDs.

Can I mix two skeletons?

You can. You should not, until one lord has died to a three-piece kit. See builds.

Where is the Mage demo starter?

There isn’t one. Mage is full-version. Use Honest Steel or Door Opener in the preview.
